Bhagat Singh in jail - the only photo during the jail

The 23rd March 1931 in Lahore Central Jail started with a severe thunderstorm. At four o'clock in the morning, Warden Charat Singh asked everyone to go to his closet. Instead of showing a reason, so much is said from above. But the barber of the prison did not stay out of the box, spreading his ear to the closet that Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were to be hanged today. In jail, the whole prison thing spread like fire. At that moment all the prisoners of Lahore Central Jail were hanged .... One day early hanging ...? Every prisoner in the jail requested Barkat to bring any of Bhagat Singh's items, such as a pen, a clock, a comb, so that he could tell his grandchildren that he was imprisoned along with Bhagat Singh, the hero of India. Barkat brought Bhagat Singh's pen, Kanski, but the wager on the prisoners to keep himself was finally drawn.

The whole prison was filled with silence .... Every prisoner's eyes were on the road passing through the chambers. On this road the martyrs of India's mother's freedom were to be martyred.
From this pen in the Saunders Murder case, Judge Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru wrote a hanging judgment.
Once Bhagat Singh was being taken this way, Punjab Congress leader Bhimasen Sachchar shouted, "Why didn't you and your colleagues defend themselves in the Lahore conspiracy case?"

Bhagat Singh's reply was, "The incilabians have to be killed, because of their death. The campaign only gets stronger. Not by appeals in court."

Warden Charat Singh was a fan of Bhagat Singh and could do whatever he needed to do for Bhagat Singh. Due to them, books from the Dwarkadas Library in Lahore were coming inside the jail for Bhagat Singh. Bhagat Singh had a great passion for reading. Once his school friend, Jaydev Kapoor, told them to send Karl Leibenbach's 'Militarism' by Kulbir, Lenin's 'Left Wing of the Communist' and Eton Sinclair's novel 'The Spy'.

Two hours before Bhagat Singh was hanged, his lawyer Prananath Mehta came to visit him. Mehta later wrote that Bhagat Singh was walking like a lion in a cage in his small cell.

He welcomed Mehta with a smile and asked if you brought my book 'Revolutionary Lenin'? When Mehta gave him the book, he started reading because he didn't have much time left.

Mehta asked him if you would like to message the country? Bhagat Singh said without looking out of the book, "Only two messages ... imperialism Muridabad and Inquilab Zindabad!"

Rajguru's last words were, "Um, we will meet soon." Sukhdev reminded Mehta that after his death, he should have taken the cashboard given to him from the jailor a few months ago.

Immediately after Mehta's departure, prison officials told the three revolutionaries that he was being hanged just 12 hours ahead of time. The next day, instead of six o'clock in the morning, he would be hanged at seven in the evening.

Bhagat Singh had read only a few pages of the book given by Mehta. Out of his mouth, "Would you not let me finish the chapter of this book?"

Bhagat Singh urged the Muslim cleansing worker Babe to bring food from his home one day before his death sentence.

But Babe could not fulfill this desire of Bhagat Singh, as Bhagat Singh was hanged before the meal for him and Babe could not enter the prison door.

Shortly afterwards, the three revolutionaries were expelled from their chambers to prepare for execution. Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev grabbed each other's hands and started singing their favorite freedom song -

कभी वो दिन भी आएगा कि जब आज़ाद हम होंगें
ये अपनी ही ज़मीं होगी ये अपना आसमाँ होगा.

All three were then weighed one by one. The funny thing was that everyone was overweight. Was asked for his last bath. Then they were dressed in black clothes. But their faces were allowed to remain open.

At 6 o'clock in the prison clock, prisoners heard some steps coming from afar. There was also the sound of heavy boots falling underground. Listened to a song,

They all suddenly heard of 'Inquilab Zindabad' and 'Hindustan Azad Ho'. The execution was old, Christ Zalad was called from Shahdara near Lahore.

Bhagat Singh was standing between the three and wanted Bhagat Singh to fulfill his promise to his mother that he would definitely speak the word 'Equilab Zindabad' before hanging.

Lahore District Congress Secretary, Pindi Das Sondhi's residence was in the Lahore Central Jail. Bhagat Singh so loudly called 'Inquilab Zindabad' that his voice was heard till the house of Sondhi.

The prison inmates heard this, the other prisoners wept. Three young revolutionaries were hanged at the gallows. Their hands and feet were tied. Then the bureaucrat asked, who would go first?

When Sukhdev was ready to be hanged at last, the executioner pulled the rope and removed the planks under his feet. Their bodies were hanging on the gallows for a long time.

Eventually, he was taken down and the doctors present there, Lieutenant Colonel JJ Nelson and Lieutenant Colonel NS Sodhi declared him dead.
