Do you know? Navratri comes four times in a year in Hinduism

Most of us know about Sharad Navratri and Chaitri Navratri but do you know? Navratri comes four times a year in Hinduism

The names given on the basis of the seasons are Vasant Navaratri, Eighth Navratri, Sharad Navratri and Pusha Navratri. These include the celebration of Sharad Navratri in these eight months and Vasant Navratri in the spring period which are considered very important.

1. Chaitri (Vasant) Navratri:

There is a festival dedicated to the nine forms of Shakti (Mother Goddess) in nine days. The festival takes place in the spring (March-April). It is also known as Chaitra Navratra. This nine-day festival is also known as Ram Navaratri.

૨. Secret (Ashadh) Navratri:

Gupta Navaratri, also known as Ashhad or Gayatri or Shakambari Navaratri, is celebrated in the month of Ashad (June-July) by dedicating nine forms of Shakti (Mother Goddess) in nine days. Gupta Navaratri is followed during the Ashuka Shukla Party (Ashhad Sud-Ajwaliya).

૩. Sharad Navratri:

This is a very important Navratri. It is commonly called Maha Navratri and is celebrated in this month. It is also called Sharad Navratri, as it is celebrated in the autumn season for the Ashwin Shukla Party (Aso Sood - Ajwaliya).

૪. Pushya (posh) Navratri:

In the month of Pusha Navaratri Posh (December-January), nine forms of Shakti (Mother Goddesses) have been dedicated in nine days. Pusha Navratri is celebrated during Posh Shukla Party (Posh Sud - Ajwaleyu).
