Do you know? Navratri comes four times in a year in Hinduism


        Most of us know about Sharad Navratri and Chaitri Navratri but do you know? Navratri comes four times a year in Hinduism

 The names given on the basis of the seasons are Vasant Navaratri, Eighth Navratri, Sharad Navratri and Pusha Navratri. These include the celebration of Sharad Navratri in these eight months and Vasant Navratri in the spring period which are considered very important.

1. Chaitri (Vasant) Navratri:

    There is a festival dedicated to the nine forms of Shakti (Mother Goddess) in nine days. The festival takes place in the spring (March-April). It is also known as Chaitra Navratra. This nine-day festival is also known as Ram Navaratri.

૨. Secret (Ashadh) Navratri:

    Gupta Navaratri, also known as Ashhad or Gayatri or Shakambari Navaratri, is celebrated in the month of Ashad (June-July) by dedicating nine forms of Shakti (Mother Goddess) in nine days. Gupta Navaratri is followed during the Ashuka Shukla Party (Ashhad Sud-Ajwaliya).


૩. Sharad Navratri:

   This is a very important Navratri. It is commonly called Maha Navratri and is celebrated in this month. It is also called Sharad Navratri, as it is celebrated in the autumn season for the Ashwin Shukla Party (Aso Sood - Ajwaliya).



૪. Pushya (posh) Navratri:

   In the month of Pusha Navaratri Posh (December-January), nine forms of Shakti (Mother Goddesses) have been dedicated in nine days. Pusha Navratri is celebrated during Posh Shukla Party (Posh Sud - Ajwaleyu).

Know The Importance of Navratri

Garba = Navratri is a Hindu festival of worship and is done in the spirit.

In Sanskrit and Gujarati, Navratri - nine means nine and night means literally nine nights. During these nine nights and ten days, nine forms of Shakti / Devi are worshiped.

The nine forms are as follows.



First day: Shaileputri

Another day - Brahmacharini

Third Day - Moon Hours

Fourth day - Kushmanda

Fifth day- Skanda mother

Sixth day - Katanya

The seventh day - Calatri

Eighth Day - Mahagouri

Ninth Day - Achievement

The worship of the goddess is based on the tradition of the region. In many places these forms are worshiped.

Hindus perform Navratri on the first day and worship and worship the Goddess. The puja lasts for nine days. On the ninth day, Bhagwati is dissolved. Some people also fast in Navratra.
